             abstract = "The analysis conducted for the hydroelectric plant in the basin 
                         covering Camargos contribution of 30 municipalities, of which only 
                         five municipalities receive financial figures relating to 
                         compensation for the use of water resources, exposes serious 
                         distortion about the procedure adopted in Brazil for the 
                         apportionment these features. The spatial factors of electricity 
                         production in the watershed that drains into its hydroelectric dam 
                         that, based on the relative shares of the flow and height of the 
                         waterfall in the generation of electric power, evident in the 
                         study, the percentage relating to electricity produced by the 
                         reservoir area (drop height) and the remaining percentage of the 
                         resulting flow originated in the region upstream of the reservoir. 
                         Although the surface of the dam occupy a small percentage of the 
                         entire basin for assistance, the policy in place for the sharing 
                         of compensation for the use of water resources includes only 
                         municipalities intercepted by reservoirs, a total of 5 cities 
                         (16.67% of total number of municipalities). The remaining 25 
                         counties (83.33% of the total counties) belonging to the basin 
                         contributing contribution to the total energy produced and receive 
                         nothing. With this new approach presented in this article tries to 
                         show the importance of the 25 counties that are not intercepted by 
                         the reservoir. These districts are included within the basin of 
                         contribution studied, therefore, liable to pay the portion of the 
                         water produced, giving due credit to those who produce it.",
